These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website llocalstairs.com and any services provided by Stairs & Railings ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), located in Rolling Hills Estates, California. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Stairs & Railings provides residential and commercial staircase and railing installation, remodeling, and repair services throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles County and Orange County. All services are subject to a separate written or verbal service agreement confirmed at the time of project acceptance.
2. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates provided via phone, email, or web form are preliminary and subject to change based on on-site assessment. Final pricing is confirmed prior to project commencement. Estimates do not constitute a binding contract. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if project scope changes after the initial assessment.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms are established at the time of project agreement. A deposit may be required prior to material procurement. Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and electronic transfers as specified in your project agreement.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations of scheduled work must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Changes to project scope after agreement may incur additional charges and timeline adjustments. We will communicate any changes to cost or schedule before proceeding.
5. Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our craftsmanship. Defects in workmanship reported within one (1) year of project completion will be corrected at no charge. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, normal wear, or third-party actions. Material warranties are subject to the terms of the respective manufacturer.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Stairs & Railings shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our services or website. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
7. Website Use
All content on this website, including text, images, and graphics, is the property of Stairs & Railings and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission. The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
